Rentals:
So Pride & Prejudice has been out on video for a while, and I finally
saw it. Pretty good movie actually, not bad for a chick flick. It was
funny in places. What confused me is that, if so many girls wish they
lived in the Romantic Era when they would only have to worry about who
to marry, then wasn't the women's movement a complete waste of time?
Weather:
Well, it's been hot and rainy as the monsoon season has begun in San
Diego. Oh wait, we don't HAVE a monsoon season. Stupid global warming.
Life of Lars:
Working for eight days in a row has left me very, very tired. It's been
a slow process, but I've been recovering through something I like to
call staring-at-the-ceiling therapy. It works wonders.
We started classes on Monday and actually I like the two of my professors
that I've met so far, they seem very good at what they do. I'm taking
drawing, painting, statistics, and bullcrap. The last one is an art
class that I'm unfortunately required to take. Overall it looks to be
a good Spring though, so yay for that.
