          Back to Basics

I refuse to think of poop as being anything other than funny.
With the possible exception of gross.

Okay so a few little things. Orders of business for the new year if you will, although the truth is that the date is entirely coincidental.

First order of business:
FEEL FREE TO HOTLINK MY COMICS.
I am referring to putting Blockhead Comics onto your myspaces and the like, using html, for example you could use the following for today's comic.

Some people have asked me if this was okay in the past, and I always say yes. You're doing me a favor, getting my comics out there... and hopefully a few people are following the URL right back here. So go nuts! Henceforth for your comfort, Blockhead Comics will simply be stamped with www.larscomics.com and the copyright is simply implied. And if you wanna link your favorite comic back here, even better. :^) For your myspace! (Change the year and the number to your favorite!)

Let's see... secondly, I have changed the update schedule once again. Seeing as I repeatedly fail to update regularly, I may as well be honest about it. :^P New Blockhead Comics officially happen on a random basis.

And lastly... dang, have you guys seen these cheap new knockoffs of old cartoons? They're creating a new Flash version of George of the Jungle, and a new Transformers series that's just... well it just doesn't look like they spent a lot of money on it really. It's called Transformers Animated, which is kinda funny because weren't ALL of the Transformers series Animated? I guess the point they're making is that this will be the most cartoony of the bunch. I mean, not that they're anything WRONG with rehashing old cartoon series, but you gotta wonder if someday EVERYTHING will be a rehash... I suppose we're moving toward a sort of equilibrium, where the market will find the optimal ratio between remakes and new material. I shudder to think what "The New Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle" will be like, done either in Flash or at the cheapest overseas studio they can find... Not that there are any plans underway to remake the show, I'm just assuming that it'll happen eventually.
