          I assume this is accurate.

Plus the movie had all those great musical numbers.

Wow you guys. Does today's comic look a little sketchy to you? It does to me, I think I was in a hurry when I drew it. Y'know what, I had probably just opened a new pen, and the ink was flowing faster than normal, so I felt I had to render in a hurried fashion to prevent bleeding. I'm having to piece all of this together because I actually drew this comic weeks ago. About one month ago exactly actually. Why would I sit on a comic so long? Well, mainly because during August, my fulltime job was basically to make sure that you were all aware of the original animated short that me and Zack made, and I just kinda wanted to leave that up on the homepage so that everybody could go check it out. You've all seen the cartoon right? Right? The cartoon that we entered in a contest? The contest that if we are finalists could get us thousands of dollars? The contest where the grand prize could get us jobs making our own original cartoon show on Fox? That cartoon? Right.

Aaaanywho, that's all done with for now, we won't hear about the results of that contest for another month. Specifically the finalists will be announced November 3rd, and then the grand prize even after that. So basically no distractions for now. Things should be more or less back to normal for the time being. I may even start putting comics up here more regularly, who knows, stranger things have happened. OH, and if you wanna keep up with how the cartoon is doing, I've got a group set up for it HERE that I'm planning on keeping updated. In fact, I think I will write an update over there once I'm done with this Blogginator! (Shut up Doofenshmirtz, I was Blogginating years before you were ever drawn!)

Let's see, what else... Well, I'm on Twitter now. Isn't that lame? It's retarded because I don't even have a cellphone that does tweets. (Or actually I might, I have to check it out, I got this new phone and I'm toying with it and well... yeah, I still have to figure it out, haven't had the time yet.) But yeah basically right now it's just sort of a "Stupid Thought Diary" that I have to remember my thoughts for so I can tweet them when I get home. Stupid. But here's my twitter if you wanna follow it. So lame.

OH, also I saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs tonight! Really really enjoyed it, I... well here's the thing. I didn't know a thing about it, had no clue what to expect when I was going into it. All I knew was that four of my friends, (none of whom have ever met each other,) all told me that it was a good movie and that I should see it, and two of those friends told me that the main character actually reminded me of them. And so tonight I set off to see it, and well... okay see I don't want to spoil it for you by saying anything about it. Like, ANYTHING about it. I feel like anything that I say will diminish your viewing experience. So here's the deal. Go see the movie. This link will help you find some showtimes in your area. Once you have seen the movie, come back here and continue reading. Until then, just stop reading this blogginator. I'll wait. :^)

OH MY GOSH WASN'T THAT MOVIE AWESOME??? Holy crap I don't know where to begin. I mean first off, I gotta say, while I was watching the movie, I had a sense that I had heard a lot of the character voices before, but honestly I was so swept up in the chacters and the jokes and the story that I didn't stop to figure out who they were! And afterwards when I was reading the credits?? Bruce Campbell as the voice of the mayor, totally awesome! Mr. T as the cop, such an amazing character! And NEIL PATRICK HARRIS as the voice of Steve the monkey's thought translator? I never would have guessed in a million years! But see that's what's so awesome about the acting in this movie, the actors get so into their roles, you forget the actor and only really perceive the role! Just really amazing performances from every single actor, I honestly marvel at the energy level they were able to get from these actors and able to maintain throughout the movie! And then just... the humor. I laughed pretty much the entire time. And all of the jokes, they're like... holy crap, they're just like really relatable everyday life stuff, conversational hiccups, slapstick and an absolutely AMAZING use of callbacks! I mean every single thing in this movie that you think is a throwaway gag KEEPS COMING BACK throughout the movie and ends up being important to the story somehow! (Again, if you haven't seen the movie, knowing something like that is gonna seriously diminish your viewing experience. Sorry!) But yeah, wow, I seriously laughed for like the entire time. I'm so full of energy right now, I feel like a million bucks, seriously. :^) One other great thing about this movie, really almost no topical humor whatsoever, which is so great to see in a movie these days! So many animated movies these days end up making these jokes that are going to be incredibly obscure in just a few years, but this movie definitely has a sort of timeless quality to it. Although it feels kind of modern at the same time, with the email and the cell phone and the flash drive. But those things will be around for a few years to come, and the point is that there weren't any popculture references in this movie! That's what I was trying to say. None of that flavor of the week stuff. So yeah, I really appreciated that too. Oh man. I really wanna buy it on DVD now and watch all the special features. :^)
